Sustainability

Carbon Neutral since 2023. A fully electric fleet. Pure-water systems and plant-safe biocides. Plain language, real evidence.

Our commitments

Four specific things, not a manifesto.

Concrete operational choices, evidenced where possible. We don't claim to be the greenest cleaning company in London; we claim to be a careful one.

01

Carbon Neutral since 2023

Verified by One Carbon World to the Carbon Neutral International Standard. Renewed annually with measured operational emissions and verified offsetting.

02

Fully electric fleet

Zero tailpipe emissions across every route, London to Kent. Quieter on residential streets, easier on residents, no diesel in the depots.

03

Pure-water systems

Deionised water cleans glass with no detergents and no rinse-off chemicals. Nothing runs off into front gardens, basement light wells, or the storm drains.

04

Plant-safe biocides

For soft washing render, brick and stone: low-pressure plant-safe treatment, with adjacent planting rinsed before and after as standard.

How it works in practice

The choices behind the work.

On window cleaning, the carbon-fibre reach pole is fed with deionised water at room temperature. No heated pressure-washers, no detergents, no waxes. Just water clean enough to dry without streaks.

On gutter clearing, the SkyVac is mains-powered from the van's onboard battery. No chemicals, no rinse, no scaffolding for most sites. Debris vacuumed, bagged, and removed.

On soft washing, low-pressure biocide is applied by reach pole. Plant-safe at the dilutions we use, with the adjacent borders rinsed both ways. On jet washing, the water comes from rainwater capture where the site allows.

And on the road, every van in the fleet is electric. Charged overnight at the depot, routed by postcode to minimise empty miles, quiet on the streets we work.

One Carbon World - Carbon Neutral International Standard
Verified by

One Carbon World - Carbon Neutral International Standard.

The standard requires measured operational emissions across Scopes 1 and 2, verified offsetting through accredited projects, and annual renewal. It isn't a sticker - it's an annual exercise in accounting honestly for the work and acting on what we find.

Alongside it: Federation of Window Cleaners membership for best-practice standards, the Living Wage Foundation for fair pay across the team, and the standard public-liability and accidental-damage cover that any properly run service should hold.
